Moth Removal Canterbury
A shared student house's carpeted bedrooms, rarely deep-cleaned between tenancies, give moth larvae plenty of undisturbed edges to work in.
Moth Removal in Canterbury
Carpet edges under beds and furniture in a shared student house often go years without being properly cleaned or moved, giving moth larvae exactly the undisturbed conditions they favour.
The problem tends to surface at changeover, when new tenants move furniture and discover damage that's been building quietly for terms.
Local pattern
Undisturbed Carpet Edges Between Tenancies
A survey checks carpet edges under furniture and any stored natural-fibre items left by previous tenants.
Pheromone traps confirm activity levels before treatment, useful evidence for a landlord's own records.
Landlords with several student properties can arrange checks at changeover, when furniture is moved and problem areas become visible.

New tenants have found carpet damage under a bed. Is that a new problem?
Possibly not - carpet edges under furniture often go undisturbed for a long time, so this may have been building for a while.
Can this be checked at changeover?
Yes, and it's a good time to do it, since furniture gets moved and problem areas become visible.
How is moth removal priced in Canterbury?
Quoted after survey; landlords with multiple properties can ask about arranging several together.
