Cockroach Control in Kent
German and Oriental cockroaches in kitchens, flats and food premises, treated discreetly and with a written record when the job needs one.
Signs
How To Tell It Is Cockroaches
A sighting in a kitchen at night, when a light is switched on suddenly, is the most common way cockroaches are first noticed - they are largely nocturnal and avoid open light. A gritty dark residue near cracks, behind appliances or under sinks is droppings rather than dirt, and a persistent musty smell in a badly affected kitchen is also typical. German cockroaches are smaller, light brown and tend to stay close to warmth and moisture - behind a fridge motor, under a dishwasher; Oriental cockroaches are larger, darker, and more often found in drains, cellars and outbuildings.
Every visit
What Every Visit Includes, Whichever Service
Free quotes, no call-out fee, and evening and weekend appointments at no extra cost. Same-day where we can, next-day for most things. Every technician is fully trained and insured, and the team has been doing this across Kent for over ten years.
Every job is guaranteed: if the problem is still active after the treatment has had time to work, we come back and there is no second call-out fee. It does not cover a new infestation arriving from a source nobody has closed.
The job
What The Treatment Involves
Clearing cupboards and worktops before the visit helps, and it is worth not deep-cleaning the areas about to be treated - gel and residual treatments need the surface they are applied to rather than a freshly bleached one. Treatment usually combines gel bait in cracks and crevices with a residual treatment to harbourage areas, and cockroach jobs are more often a return-visit job than a one-off, since a heavier infestation needs the population brought down in stages.
On commercial premises the visit includes a written record of what was found, what was applied and what is recommended - the part that turns a finding into a closed item at an environmental health inspection, and it matters as much as the treatment itself.

How much is cockroach control?
From £180 for a domestic property, depending on the extent. Commercial premises are quoted separately.
Is it German or Oriental cockroaches?
German are smaller, light brown, and stay near warmth and moisture. Oriental are larger, darker, and more often found in drains and cellars. Describe what you have seen and we can usually tell you which before we arrive.
Will one visit sort it?
A light problem sometimes, but a heavier infestation is more often a return-visit job, since the population needs bringing down in stages.
We run a restaurant - is this discreet?
Unmarked vans and attendance timed around trading hours where needed, plus a written record of what was found and done for your records or an inspection.
Should I deep-clean before you arrive?
Clear cupboards and worktops, but do not deep-clean the areas about to be treated - gel and residual treatments need the surface as it is.
One Last Thing
Commercial jobs get a written record as standard, not as an extra. If you are not sure which cockroach you have, or whether it is even cockroaches, describe it and we will tell you honestly.
